At the intersection of community and the environment

I lead diverse teams to address complex issues and launch innovative ideas. I specialize in accomplishing technical projects by integrating seamlessly with your existing staff or assembling a specialized team of technical associates to meet the specific demands of the work. I build relationships on the core values of integrity, mutual respect, and accountability.

Since 2010, I have provided services to Tribal Governments, NGOs, Academic Institutions, and State and Federal agencies throughout Alaska. This site is a portfolio of my work to date and a roadmap for what we can build next.

All of the work featured here is carried out in partnership with individuals and teams who have a positive impact on their communities.

Transforming conflict into dialog. Distilling complex issues into shared visions.

FACILITATION

I specialize in creating a safe space for diverse participants to have bold discussions and share information around complex and challenging topics. I aim to foster consensus and transform conflict into dialogue. I facilitate discussions that bridge the pathways necessary to broaden perspectives and orientate groups towards conflict resolution, actionable outcomes, and enhanced societal and environmental well-being.

Breaking the Cycle of Collective Burnout.

The Human Element

The most critical infrastructure in any project is the people running it.

In 20 years of navigating complex systems, I’ve seen brilliant teams fail—not due to poor policy and plans, but due to systemic load and cognitive erosion; leading to collective burn out.

The Human Element is a technical, no-nonsense training for boards, governments, and teams. We move beyond “strategy” to address how our biology actually works under pressure, providing the tools to sustain your team’s most valuable asset: their internal capacity.

Turning meaningful visions into tangible form and function.

PROGRAM & ORGANIZATIONAL CREATION

As a creator, I work with teams to take conceptual ideas and bring them to life. From developing robust programs, establishing effective organizations, crafting essential legal instruments, and strengthening governance frameworks, I provide strategic and operational leadership needed to give structure to ambitious ideas.

Providing critical research, analysis and strategic advice.

POLICY ANALYSIS & GOVERNANCE ADVISORY

I empower organizations, particularly Tribal Governments, in navigating complex regulatory landscapes. This work involves in-depth research, analysis, assessment, and program governance development. I synthesize information to develop targeted strategies, author official responses, and provide strategic guidance that helps clients navigate legal landscapes and achieve their policy and governance objectives.
